The girls needed a girls day out together so this Saturday while the boys stayed home and took naps the girls skipped naps and had a blast! We really haven't spent time together one on one in a long while so we both were so eager to be together and have some girl time!

We headed to Color Me Mine first. Kaylee calls it the paint store.

We each picked out a piece to paint. She wanted the
flip flop picture holder and I got a piggy bank since her piggy bank broke a while ago.

Here we are painting and having so much fun together! She is so artistic! I just let her do what she wanted and sometimes she would ask for help but she did really well!

Here we are with the almost finished product. We leave our flip flop and piggy there for a week and then they make it shiny for us and we pick it up to enjoy at home.

A girls day out isn't complete without a pedicure so that was our next stop.

We were greeted with fresh bottled water and a bowl of candy! Very pampering to Kaylee!

She sat in the spa chair and
really enjoyed the pampering to the fullest!

She kept giggling and smiling the whole time. I think she made the workers just as happy to be working on her as she was for them to be working on her!

They washed, trimmed and painted her toes and mine too of coarse. Kaylee sat very still the whole time except for one time after they painted her finger nails, they told her how pretty she was and she got shy and stuck her freshly painted pointer finger right in her mouth! It was really funny and she didn't even mess up that nail either. That girl is talented.

The finished product! Pink toes with polka dots! I love my daughter
sooo much and it was truly a blessing to spend some quality time with just her!

Good for you! It is so important to make this time with her! We try to get one on one dates with all of our children every month...it is tough, but so important. I find it so easy to do with Chloe...and I sometimes struggle with finding things to do with my boys! Good for you!
