Valencia

My hometown is Valencia and I must say there is no place like home! Any opportunity we get to even just drive through town we take it!
We were able to visit Valencia over Thanksgiving weekend. We drove way out of our way to get there, only spent a few hours there, didn't see any friends, added about an hour to our drive home, stressed out Benny... but for me it was all worth it! There is something about Valencia that I love. Its clean, growing and very convenient but its our fond memories that we made while living there that make it such a wonderful place! Its where I became a Christian, got married, had our first child, went to the most amazing church ever and made life long friends! We were able to visit some key points of interest to Kaylee, made a stop by a park and my favorite makeup boutique, ate lunch at one of our favorite hot spots and of course had our Starbucks. We felt like we lived there still but had no place to go! Hehe! Maybe one day we'll have the opportunity to move back home! For now here are some pictures.

One of the main streets in Valencia and also the same street our first home was on.
The corner window on the top floor is where Kaylee was born. This was very important to her that we go by her hospital as we get to see where Benny was born any time we want!

These are the front doors where they wheeled me out with our new baby girl!

Benny chillin' in the back. By the end of the night he was so ready to be home!

Going for a walk at a beautiful park.

The boys had to get off the pathway and walk through rough terrain!

Kaylee getting tired of all the walking.

One thing I love about LA is the diversity. This is the best way to capture it. You've got your Maserati, Honda and an old truck carrying furniture all driving together. I love that all types of people in all different walks of life live, work and interact with each other. There is something so appealing to me about that.

Coloring on the ride home.
