Happy Easter

We started our Resurrection Sunday with worshipping our Lord at church! (Note: we don't usually bring our camera to church but today was a special day and we attempted to get another family picture)

Cute kiddo's.
They had a great time at church today. Benny walked out of Sunday school with an adorable visor he had made. Kaylee said she really liked wearing her long dress because she felt like a "big girl" in it. Easter truly is not all about the clothes, presents and pictures. It is about our Lord conquering death through rising on the third day. Through His resurrection we too can be resurrected into glory with our loving and sacrificial Lord.
A picture of our Easter dinner. This captures the blending of two families perfectly. We had some Smith lemon jello and deviled eggs, a french salad that I (Monique) grew up with, traditional ham and a new warm red potato salad that was a hit and will be our families tradition too! Very fun!
Here are the kids waiting in anticipation for some presents.
A new dress and some toys.

Trying on his new bicycle gear.

All decked out in his new gear and ready to catch some bugs with his net.
We went out for a fun bike ride and some playtime at the park. This week Kaylee accomplished riding her bike. She can go very fast and absolutely loves it! Way to go Kaylee!

Benny seems to slowly be getting the hang of pedaling.
Oops! Went off roding! Gotta get back on the path.

We hope you all had a great day celebrating our risen Lord!

We saw the "big" girls from afar. It makes me a little sad that she can't fit in the baby dresses anymore. They grow up too fast!
