There is no place like HOME!

Our new carpet has arrived!

First we broke down some furniture and moved it out of the bedrooms and closets. This is what the living room looked like but there was furniture everywhere! The kitchen, hallway, bathtubs... pretty much every other room was filled with furniture! Yikes! The moment the carpet installers arrived they started working. Within 5-10 min the old carpet was out! I couldn't believe how fast they were working. This is the kids room with the old padding underneath soon to be removed!

We walked to a nearby park for about an hour then got a quick bite to eat and then we went back home.
The carpet installers were gone and our new carpet was in! The kids loved rolling all around in their room. Kaylee kept saying "My room isn't stinky anymore!"
Benny loves to just lay on his back and lounge on the new carpeting!

This is our room!

After the kids napped and we cleaned up and set up furniture in our room we moved onto the kids room. They both loved helping set up their room... for the second time!
Then on Sunday we worked on the living room. Here is the family building our new book case.
TA DA! This is the right side of the living room...
and this is the left. We still have some pictures/mirrors to hang up but the living area is almost completely done! We still have some work cut our for us in the rest of the house but we'll take it one room at a time!
Oh yes, lets not forget our new computer table! No longer on the floor! Yipee! We got this awesome desk from Crate & Barrel on sale! It's working out just fabulous!

We are sooo very thankful for our new carpet and are loving making our new place feel like "home!"
