Here is the official corner where Darrin's grandfather William Smith owned a grocery store in the 1940's. Darrin's Dad used to work in the meat department too!

Royal Food Mart is what it was called then and it still has the same name today! The little man on the corner with the blue shirt on is the man who recently sold the store and he was so kind to us and let us go around taking pictures.

This is a sign that was on the front of the store.

The front entrance doors are different now and so is the round window next to the pay phone.

The grocery store is more known for their deli sandwiches now. They did have a few groceries and plenty of wine. There was a wall dividing the store. The grocery store on the left and a coffee shop on the right. We didn't take pictures of the inside of the coffee shop but it certainly had been remodeled since the 40's. Very cozy and busy too!
